Sara Vandenheuvel is a New York based costume designer with over ten years of experience in the field. She loves getting wrapped up in the meticulous research, analyzation, and exploration that goes into expressing a character through dress. While she delights in the specificity and detail found in realism, Sara is far more excited by experimental theater. No matter the genre, Sara is committed to work that pushes boundaries and always strives to create work that will impact the audience. Sara believes that theater is most interesting when it has something to say and when it says it in a way that fully embraces the suspension of disbelief that only theater can get away with.

Hi! I’m Jarrod Fries, a sound designer turned lighting designer from Orlando, Florida and Houston, Texas. I am a current senior, graduating in May, and I just finished my 16th production with the University as the Associate Lighting Designer on Roe. Some of my favorite designs at OU include Pearl Fishers, The Wolves, originally choreography from OU faculty (On the Rim, Twin Flames), and Grand Hotel: The Musical. In summer 2019 I worked with Texas Shakespeare Festival as a Sound Intern and had the opportunity to design the original children’s show, The Girl Who Cried Throgmonster. In years past, I have presented my portfolio at LDI and USITTSW, winning Excellence in Design awards at USITT. I have recently found photography as an artistic form and have enjoyed learning to take high quality production photos. This summer I am working on redesigning and reimplementing a repertory dance plot for OU.
